Gestation crates are extremely inhumane. Pigs are highly sentient and very intelligent animals and they suffer immensely when they are forced to live in tiny crates in which they lose their freedom to move around.
There is absolutely no reason to subject pigs or other animals to such horrible conditions in which they greatly suffer and I support all efforts to ban the use of crates.
Thank you for working to get rid of gestation crates once and for all.
