From the viewpoint of animal welfare, Gestation crates ( :sow stalls ) have many problems and should be abolished.

Breeding sows are confined in the narrow spaces and suffer mentally and physically. Sows are not materials. They are living creatures and they should be treated as such.

I really hope to see the realization of the liberation of the sows and the total abolition of the system in which the cruelty to domestic animals are taken for granted.
